Overview

For a camping experience that will also include the magic of Disney World, stay at the Orlando/Kissimmee KOA Campground, part of the KOA Holiday brand. Park your RV, pitch a tent or stay in one of the six cabins, which come with bunk beds, sofa beds and queen beds, a partial kitchen, free Wi-Fi, linens, full bathroom with running water and cable TV. It won’t even feel like you’re camping! Enjoy outdoor activities like the pool and hot tub, horseshoes, bicycling, hiking, the basketball court and even a fitness center. The Disney Theme Parks are just 10 minutes away, too — and attraction tickets can be purchased onsite! There is no onsite dining, but grills, propane and firewood are available for your own meals. Pets are allowed in some areas of the campground. Laundry service is available. Check-in is at 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. (for cabins) and check-out is at 11 a.m. Families who arrive late at night can sign in at the General Store.

Great campground!

by DaveW172

We were unable to get into Fort Wilderness so we decided to try this KOA and commute! The campground was very clean and wonderfully landscaped. Easy access to everything we wanted to do. We will go back! More pricey than most KOA’s, but way cheaper than Fort Wilderness for same quality site. Great amenities.

CLOSE TO DISNEY PARKS!

Quiet - except for the occasional tourist helicopters flying over. Very clean campsites, pool, bathrooms & showers. Fun extras for the kids to do. Exceptionally helpful & friendly staff - especially Mark! Be aware that there is only one bathroom/shower building, with no parking available. The campground is not so huge that this should cause a problem, though. There is a laundry facility - but, no change machine. Be sure to have $2 in quarters (only) for either washer or dryer use. We had a great week and would definitely recommend this KOA.
