The WORST customer service ever! Stay away

by mjottmar

We just completed a 3 night/4 day stay at this hotel. Came back to our room last night after midnight to a very strong sewer smell. Walked into the bathroom to find a sink full of water and fecal matter!
Called and requested help immediately and after the maintenance guy tried plungers and a snake we were finally moved to another room at 3 AM. Ridiculous. They said a manager would contact us in the morning. Never happened. Went to check out and asked how they would be compensating us for a wasted and absolutely disgusting night only to be told we would just get our resort fee back. Nothing more. Totally unexceptable!!

Outdated hotel, dark and creepy and entire casino floor is SMOKING only!

We stayed at The Orleans because we were there for the World League Poker Championship. Poor signage to the ballroom where the WLPC was being held. No one on the floor seem to know about WPLC. Bad management for lack of signage.

The room is outdated and smelled musty. Carpets are dark and dirty. Furnishing had seen better days. The entire hotel needs a serious facelift. The entire casino floor is SMOKING only. In our room the previous hotel guest(s) had left a scribbled warning on one of the brochures ...
* stealing money
* took phone
* computer
We were fearful and did not have the cleaning crew clean our room. Thank goodness we were there for only 2 nights. Could not get out fast enough!
This hotel is away from the strip and there is nothing to write home about as far as the restaurants on site are concerned.
