Nice Resort but Needs Some Updating

by DaveT12345678

We booked this resort due to the price, pictures looked nice and good location. Found out it is 38 years old so many units are in need of upgrading. The units are owned and they rent on behalf of the owners. The first room was run down and poorly maintained but nice bed. Switched to another room and a bit better but still in need of upgrading however had a view of the city and ocean. The main resort is nice, pools are nice and were warm, staff was always friendly, on-site restaurant was good, Starbucks served in the lobby and good location. You have to park across the road in a garage, there was a sewage smell most nights on the street side, lots of dogs so if you don't like hotels with dogs don't come here, booked an ocean front and got an ocean view, and main air conditioner was tripping the breaker due to a wiring issue. It was worth the money we paid but doubt we will go back.
