Overview

Located on the shore of a private lake halfway between the White Mountains and the Lakes Region, Purity Springs is ideally situated to take advantage of some of New Hampshire’s most popular tourist attractions. Don’t be surprised, however, if you find it difficult to leave the resort itself due to the plethora of activities offered on a daily basis — everything from guided canoe and mountain biking trips to archery, tennis, arts and crafts projects, and an onsite climbing wall. As if that’s not enough, the resort offers theme weekends year-round involving everything from scrapbooking to ballroom dance. The emphasis is on activities, with kids not only welcomed but also embraced in a family-friendly atmosphere. The rooms in the three lodges are immaculate, if a bit cookie-cutter, some of them offering fireplaces and TVs, and a smattering of cottages arranged around the lake.

Welcoming and homey

by Lorrie B

I love Purity Spring Resort! I have been coming to Purity Spring for over 10 years now, and have introduced others to this gem. The accomodations are nothings fancy, but the value for what you get is perfect. The beautiful surroundings, the welcoming staff - I feel like I'm "coming home" when I arrive. I always enjoy my stay at Purity.

Nothing fancy but a comfortable stay with friendly staff and delicious breakfast

We stayed here for two nights while visiting New Hampshire for the fall colors. The resort was rather far away from the mountains where we were hiking and enjoying the leaves but it was the closest accommodation we could find for the Columbus day weekend. It was a very scenic area, the staff was friendly, the food was good, the drinks were generous, and the accommodations comfortable but not high end. This appears to be a very family friendly place with a real cabin, outdoor feel. The free breakfast was plentiful with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes/french toast/waffles, toast/bagels/sweet rolls, oatmeal, and many juices to choose from.
