Filthy bedding experience

by mandstravels

Found a red stain, black bits of dirt and long hairs on both beds as well as no pillow covers on the pillows and no cover for one of the comforters. When the night staff arrived after I had called them, he handed me a pile of sheets without offering to help (I had to ask him, to which he acted as if it was a great inconvenience to him) he put on one new sheet but that was dirty as well. He then took it off and put another sheet on which also had dirt and hair on it but said he could not do anything else for me. So I slept on dirty sheets. This resulted in a poor night's rest for me.

The next day they apologized to me with 3 complimentary meals and deep cleaned my room, hence why I am giving them a Poor instead of a Terrible .

A clean bed is the bare minimal a hotel can provide, and it took them multiple tries before this necessity was fulfilled.

Amazing experience!

We have stayed at many hotels in big cities all over the world. Our experience at the Raddison was exceptional for many reasons. Our son got married at the Steam whistle Brewery. We only live 45 minutes away but given the occasion and the fact that many of our guests were staying I Toronto to enjoy the festivities we opted to stay the night. We chose the Raddison because of it's close proximity to the wedding venue and because if the price compared to many other hotels in the immediate area. We hit the jackpot!

RECEPTION
we were warmly greeted. We had booked and paid on line therefore check in was easy. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming...it didnt feel like business transaction but rather like we were being welcomed into someone's home. All pertinent information was clearly explained.

ROOM
We had originally asked for a king bed but due to the addition of a family member we were accommodated with 2 queens. Room was spacious, updted and very clean with wood floors rather than carpet. Bathroom was equally spacious with a good selection of towels, toiletries. Shower was massive ( no tub incase uou are staying with children in our suite but may be available if requested). Room also had complimentary bottles of water, a mini fridge and Kuerig coffee maker with plenty of supplies. Beds were super comfy with double pillows for everyone and an extra blanket I'd needed. We also had a couple of comfy chairs for casual seating.

LOCATION
if you are a tourist to Toronto this location is perfect. Walking distance to the Roger's Center, Ripley Aquarium, Scotiabank Arena, Union station, the gorgeous waterfront along with many great restaurants at all price levels. Easy access to the high way and public transit.

PARKING
This hotel offers parking at a very reasonable rate. We only stayed overnight but were allow to leave our vehicle parked until 6pm that day at night extra charge.

OTHER
there us a very quaint little coffe concept in the lobby if the hotel that offers a selection specialty coffees, teas, pastries and healthy lunch or snack items.

Overall this how is great value for the money!we found it to be very quiet as well. We would highly recommend!
