Located just minutes from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, the newly renovated Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Hotel offers families guest rooms, junior suites and one-bedroom suites. The resort features an outdoor heated pool and nearby golf courses, biking and hiking trails. Families can relax on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, which is located about a mile away. Other local attractions and activities include the Seminole Okalee Indian Village, a special kids' theme park called Wannado City, and Boomers, which offers mini golf, a rock wall, laser tag and bumper cars.
