Housekeeping was pushy

by ssnschrdr

Housekeeping knocked on the door while we were still asleep. Good thing there was a safety latch on the door because they tried to enter. Check out was at noon and they came three times prior to that time to see if we had left. A "do not disturb" sign was not provided. I'm going to be sure to pack my own sign for the next time! And I'm also going to bring my own coffee mug. The cups furnished in the kitchenette only hold about 4 oz.

Under Renovation

This Residence Inn is under renovation. The rims that are done are gorgeous and beautiful with all the amenities and up-to-date in every way. There is a lot of work in the halls and then the rooms that are not finished creating quite a mess and the common areas. There is a nice Courtyard with pool and BBQ and nice trees and foliage as well as a basketball court. The staff here is really nice and the housekeeping is doing an awesome job. Good part of town with lots of restaurants nearby. They do have gated parking but it is free. Only issue I really had was that air conditioning it does struggle to keep up with providing a cool temperature inside the rooms of low 70s. Can't seem to get below 72 this summer. 72 might be cool to a Texan but for anybody from out of town that's not used to the humidity 72 feels like upper eighties. Would recommend this hotel Once the renovations are done. I bet it's very nice once all the renovations are done
