Overview

This Ritz-Carlton is located on South Beach steps away from Lincoln Road pedestrian hotspot, which features an array of shops and restaurants. More than 375 guest rooms display luxurious bedding, marble bathrooms and dark wood furnishings. Suites may contain multiple bathrooms, connecting guest rooms or living and dining areas. Families can request a balcony off their unit. Two restaurants are at the hotel: one upscale indoor bistro and one casually chic beachfront eatery. Kids’ menus are available and a children’s meal plan is provided for an extra fee. An elevated outdoor pool overlooks the ocean. Parents may want to check out the huge spa on the grounds — teens can enjoy treatments, too. One of the best things about the Ritz-Carlton is all the games and activities the hotel plans for children. Ritz Kids offers supervised open play, scheduled games, crafts and beach time are some of the special amenities for kids. Teenage girls can attend at Charm Camp to learn dance choreography, cooking lessons and cosmetic tricks.

Hotel not reopening on time

by SeeTheWorld4

I have stayed at the RC South Beach many times. Great hotel, location and service. Unfortunately they closed a couple of years ago after hurricane damage. I booked the hotel for January 2020 as they were supposed to reopen. Just got a call from one of the directors at the hotel informing me it would not be open in time. It’s unfortunate however I was so impressed I got a personal call instead of some blanket email. I think this says a lot about this hotel. I will be back when they do reopen.

Nice property

We stopped by for a night after visiting the Keys. The hotel is gorgeous. We did not like the valet required parking situation. The staff and valet were very friendly. The beach was smaller than expected and had the dreaded sea weed all over it. Pool and grounds were immaculate. Overall comfortable stay in this high quality resort.
