Beautiful

The resort was wonderful. The staffs here truly care about your happiness and loves helping you with anything. My family and I felt right at home.
Cons:
The sand at the beach is very rocky so bring water shoes.
Food choices are very limited at the pool side restaurant well I wouldn't call it a restaurant. Only open at certain hours.
The restaurant on other side, Laman is very expensive.
Pros:
Having your own kitchen is the best if you have picky eaters. Has plates, bowls, glassware, ect
Free sea lion show every day!
Walking to Mambo Beach is 5 mins top. Eric's ATV shop is also 5 mins away.

Scrupulously clean and right by your own private aquarium!

My daughter, now 17, would tell you that the most fun she has ever had on vacation was at this resort 10 years ago. The resort is owned by Royal Resorts, and is decorated in the same style as their large famous resorts in Cancun. The resort shares a tiny island (accessed by bridge) with the Curacao Seaquarium. Not only did the staff at the aquarium allow my kid to spend the days volunteering to 'train the dolphins" all day long for free, but you over look them from a lot of the resort, which is really enjoyable. A few weekends a year in the off season, the resort closes the aquarium to have private events for special needs children. My daughter got her first scuba certification diving in the dolphin enclosure, instead of the pool like the rest of us! One of the special things the resort offers is a dolphin dive unlike any other. Not only to you have extensive interaction with the dolphins, but they are released from their enclosure, hunt the reef and voluntarily return every night with their babies. The rooms are gorgeous, with floor to ceiling marble. It's located a short drive to downtown if you want to go restaurant-ing. I highly recommend this place! My only caveat is that the ceramic tile on the exterior steps is VERY slippery when wet.
