Top location in midtown

by doyles34

Really enjoyed the royalton hotel. The location in midtown is perfect for exploring the area and close to subway links for the rest of the island and beyond.
The hotel itself has a great feel to it, the entrance lobby and bar areas are great and we really enjoyed the drinks we had there. We didn't eat at the hotel so unable to comment on that.
Our room was a double with a 'disco tub' and was large enough. Plenty storage, comfortable beds, everything you need. Bathroom was great and functional. Our only very minor issue is the lack of natural light in the room, this coupled with the low lighting in the bar made it feel like it was permanently night time or maybe that was the jet lag. Very minotbpoint anyway.
Overall, we'd return if we wanted to stay in midtown again as all the major attractions are really accessible and there are some good spots for breakfast on the same street as the hotel.

Quiet Oasis in the middle of Manhattan

Amazing lobby, wonderful staff, clean - beautiful rooms. From the moment you walk in the lobby, you know you're in for something special. Friday afternoon had a wonderful happy hour buzz about it, but then by the evening, it was back to a quiet and cozy place to relax.
