Overview

The Samoset has a gorgeous location on a sprawling piece of property right on Penobscot Bay, and has plenty of amenities for families, including an outdoor pool, five dining options, a championship golf course and a children’s program that operates during the summer months. The supervised camp runs June 22, 2009 through August 22 and is for kids ages 5 to 12. The cost is $35 per day and includes lunch. Many of the rooms 178 rooms recently been renovated and have flat-screen TVs and down bedding and are beautifully appointed.

Great place for conference

Recently attended a conference at Samoset! Great experience. The grounds were so nice to walk along the water. Staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk, restaurant, banquets and house keeping. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed in a renovated suite and was big and comfortable. The fitness center has everything you need. Also had time to sneak in a massage and enjoyed everything about it. Had time to eat meals in the restaurant. Great selection for food and delicious. Can't wait to go back for fun!!!

Breathtaking

We have stayed at this location 3 times, and we plan on returning again in the future. The town is centrally located, its within a few hrs to drive to Bar Harbor,and Portland is only an hour away. Lobsters can be bought right at the shipyards, Rockland,which is only several miles away is a darling little town to walk and do a little shopping.excellent restaurants. We enjoyed walking the breakwater almost everyday.
