Terrible

by courtneym0822

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, otherwise this hotel is horrible. It is EXTREMELY outdated. The lobby was nice but once you got into the hallway, the hallways were dark, and dirty.

I then found out that over the summer people have died from being in this hotel from a deadly disease. The room had a funky smell to it, the lamp was dirty and the rooms were so far away from elevator. The front desk told me that the problem was solved and not to worry. The disease that was found is something to be worried about, the CDC even closer the hotel.

Safe to say, we left very quickly and went down the road to another hotel and I will be calling for a refund.

Great service from hotel staff

This hotel has recently undergone a renovation in the lobby (last time I was here was during construction). The lobby has a nice, new look. The pool area is great, although I really wish the hot tub was still working ... apparently it's been shut down, which is a shame, because it's in a great space. But what really makes the hotel work is the service. The staff has been great. I extended my stay a couple days, and Matthew at the front desk was very helpful in resolving some issues that I had making that change. Plus Tanya, the onsite manager, was outstanding in helping us resolving the final details. She has a great personality, and it reflects down to the others on the team that she leads. I will chose the property again on a future stay.
