Reviews

Clean, nice housekeeping and staff, lounge food dull and limited

by BigCitiesBoy

It was alright, it does the job of the location works for you.

The folks at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. From housekeeping Die Min was very friendly and the room was spotless.

The concierge lounge staff worked hard. The lounge itself was large, open and had plenty of seats. The breakfast and evening food selection could have been better. It was dull and low quality. In the evening only some noodles with tomato sauce which from other reviews seems to be the standard. Also a simple green salad. I’ve experienced worse at other Sheratons, but the fare at Marriott lounges is usually better with more variety. Marriott doesn’t seem to care about the Sheraton brand as much as their others.

It is easy to get to from the metro. A block away is a shopping mall with a very fun food court in the basement.

Handy location

Clean rooms, friendly staff and a handy location.

We stayed on the 25th floor (just below the rooftop bar), which was a little loud on weekends (which we were warned about) so I’d recommend staying on a lower floor.

It’s a handy location, just out of the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.
