The Sheraton Society Hill is just four blocks from Independence Hall and steps away from world-class restaurants, shopping, galleries, and theaters. Relics from the past 200 years, discovered in an archaeological dig prior to our construction, are on display around the hotel. The hotel has a whirlpool, indoor pool, and exercise room.

Famlies can enjoy a healthy snack upon arrival, like fresh fruit or chips, one free in-room movie per night, and a complimentary rollaway bed. Kids 12 and under eat free with the purchase of each adult meal. Hadley’s Bistro serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is American style, and the kids’ menu is sure to please fussy eaters. The other restaurant, Wooden Nickel, is a sports bar, which is geared toward singles and adults.

Nice hotel with potential, staff needs work

by Lashonda H

Three stars out of 5 is accurate here. Really nice hotel and it has a lot of potential. But the staff really don't attribute to the success. I enjoyed my room for the most part, besides having hair in my shower for 3 days. I complained several times all the way up to the housekeeping supervisor who thought it made sense to tell me why the hair wasn't removed from my shower. Which according to him was because it was as simple oversight and I had the green choice hanger on my door. It's as if he wanted to argue with me or wanted me to get out of character to which I simply requested the hair be removed from my shower. I wasn't interested in going back and forth. He obliged and then STEPPED in the shower with his shoes on to clean it. Now what sense does that make? I'm sorry, hair in the shower may seem minuscule to some, but it's disgusting to me especially since there were 2 different types of hair in the shower. The manager and front desk persons made up for it by offering me access to the Marriott M Lounge (really nice spot) and points. Points are nice but hopefully some of the staff (housekeeping) can get their act together. I dined at the hotel on several occasions. Skip the breakfast. The dinner was nice, I enjoyed the crab cake sandwich.
The fitness center on the 4th floor was niiiice! I enjoyed my workout.
I will agree that the lobby can get LOUD. There was a group of about 70 men in the lobby one night and the rooms surround the lobby so the sound reverberated off the walls. However, I could not hear them from inside my room or inside the M Lounge. I don't think I'd stay here again because of most of the reasons above but it's also not really close to anything. Not many restaurants near here either.

ANts, ant ,ants

by Welshy310

We booked here for a family wedding. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation - turns out the perosn that I booked with spelled our namr wrong - we do not have a hard name, plus that had our credit card, so..... There were tiny blck ants everywhere in the room! MOstly the counte aboce where the coffee and sugar was kept, so maybe that was the attraction. WHen we checked out I told the woman at the front desk about the ants. SHe was very embarrassed and did write eit down right away for someone to check on. SHe told me that they would waive the valet parking fee as a gesture. It took forever to get our car from the valet - turns out they didn't have our reservation due to the name being spelled wrong. THey did, howeer have my key and a ticket to get our car. THe man incharge of the valet told me that we hadn't been charged for the parking. I told him that the fee was waived because of an issue that we had with our room - I did not make a scene as I didn't want to embarrass him. TUrns sout, we get an updated bill with the valet charge on it!! Iwould not return here and would not recpmmend this hotel to anyone. Also of note, we have stayed at another Marriott on the Main LIne twice - both times my husband's credit card info got hacked and he had to close his account and get a new card issued. Losing fatith in Marriott Corp and won't go to any of their hotels in the future.
