Not what I pictured!

The hotel itself is dated. The gift shop was this nicest place in the hotel. The water park was okay, my son really enjoyed it, but on the steps to the big slides there were used banaids - EW!Then the room - it was VERY dated and there were stains more +on the couch sleeper and rug. There were beetle like bugs in our room in both the kitchen and the bathroom. Had it not been for my husband and my son I would have left after about 5 minutes! The arcade and bowling alley were nice - actually won some tickets and got some decent prizes out of that. The food left a lot to be desired. Got the steak at the Galleria for $24 it was not the steak like at home you get for that kind of $. The salad bar reminded me of Ponderosa or something as did the dining area. The staff however was very good and attentive - making up for the rooms being so dated and dirty. There was also a broken door in the room that divided our bed from the sofa bed my son slept in. Overall just beacause the room is the most important thing to me to be clean I would never go back or recommend that anyone else go there I know. Have stayed in much nicer accomodations for the same $ (Venetian, LV!)

A week was too long!

.we were scheduled to go for a fall trip to the poconos. Maybe see some colorful leaves, ride bikes, etc. I t snowed! It was horrific ride up on the pa turnpike. When we arrived on property there were cars skidded off the roads everywhere you more +looked. We were nervous! We had an suv with all wheel drive but had never used it. I quickly looked up the directions in the manual to put into use. There were cars in ravines with tow trucks hovering. We got there safely, thankfully.

We got checked in. The room was small, very old fashioned but clean! The place was deserted which wasn't a bad thing! We did all the the place had to offer and were more than ready to go home in four days! The food was awful on property! But we were together tand made the best of it but if given a choice would not return!
