About Split Rock Resort & Golf Club

Split Rock Resort & Golf Club is located on Lake Harmony in the Poconos. The resort offers a variety of four-season activities for families, including the 54,000-square-foot water park, called H20ooohh!!, which opened in October 2008. There are also 27 holes of championship golf, an 18-hole mini-golf course, two indoor pools, an outdoor pool and swimming lagoon, 11 tennis courts, racquetball and archery, among countless others. There's also a bowling alley, video game arcade and movie theater. In summer, you'll have access to fishing, paddle boats and lake activities, and in winter, nearby Jack Frost and Big Boulder offer great skiing. There are three on-site restaurants, a pizza parlor and water park snack bar. Families can choose from rooms in Split Rock Lodge -- overlooking Lake Harmony -- cottages, or one- and two-bedroom suites, which surround the golf course.

Not what I pictured!

The hotel itself is dated. The gift shop was this nicest place in the hotel. The water park was okay, my son really enjoyed it, but on the steps to the big slides there were used banaids - EW!Then the room - it was VERY dated and there were stains on the couch sleeper and rug.
