Good Times in Choo-Choo

This hotel is not a resort hotel but suited our needs for a quick weekend getaway. The hotel is located in downtown Chattanooga across the street from the Convention Center. I was very impressed with the property from the moment I arrived. The Staff more +was without a doubt the most courteous I have ever encountered, from offering directions to extra towels to the attention paid to my children during breakfast. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet, that had anything you could possibly want on it. We took the kids ( 4 & 9 ) to Lake Winnie, a family amusement park, that was just 15 minutes from the hotel. We took them on a Steam Locomotive train ride that was also located about 15 minutes for the hotel. This hotel caters to extended stay visitors, but as we found out offered great amenities for the casual traveler. Every room has a kitchen with full size fridge, sink, stove & dish washer. The fridge came in handy for us as far as keeping drinks and sodas cold for the kids. We also took advantage of the indoor pool & hot tub. An excellent hotel for the money.
