People flock to Telluride in the summer, as well (even more so than in the winter, actually), to attend the many music festivals it hosts -- including the famous Telluride Bluegrass Festival -- and hike, mountain bike, and more. Hotel prices tend to be lower during this time, too.

Fun Fact: Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank in Telluride, and the original door to the bank rests on Colorado Ave.
