This is the second time we have stayed at this resort, coming back after 3 years away. The beach is great, lovely for swimming. However it has been totally spoilt by the hotel allowing tours. Basically the tour take over all the sun beds and the beach for several hours. There is no restriction on these day trippers allowing them to take over leaving no space for residents to sit peacefully watching the sea. Sun beds pulled up knocking you around so they can sit inches in front spoiling your stay! If you are going to do this at least leave the deck to residents only!

The restaurant is also not fantastic, items missing from breakfast but still same price charged, service is so slow and it’s expensive.

Stayed here for a four day conference in the Marriott. I dont really like big hotels as they tend to be impersonal so chose the Timothy Beachas it was a 15 minute walk to the conference. Good choice of hotel as the welcome was second to none, Laurel is a star,. She was very knowledgable and looked after all my transport needs and booked outings when I needed them. The food is good and reasonably priced and the rooms are very spacious. WiFi was good once Laurel sorted it out for me. Swimming is pleasant and location on the beach is great with some good snorkeling just around the other side of the jetty. one minute walk to the 'strip' which was quiet at this time of year - October.
