Patrick took great care of my wife and I at the beach bar.
Great clean room with an ocean view.
I can’t wait to come back. The food is delicious and the wait staff bends over backwards to take care of you. The guys on the beach hustling to keep your drinks full and cold.

You will not get what you paid for

I booked Two Bedroom Oceanview Suite on their website for our family trip. Arrived to the hotel yesterday. Here are some first impressions:

1. We (2 adults, 2 kids) arrived late at night, around 11 PM. A cab dropped us off at the stairs that lead to the front entrance. There was no one available to help with luggage and stroller, and there is no ramp to take your stuff up to the doors -- use your own hands to pull those suitcases up the stairs.

2. Turned out, the are no 2 bedroom suites at all at the hotel: they simply advertise 2 connected rooms as one 2-bedroom suites. Very creative and very misleading. What I got on arrival was not a single suite but two connected rooms: one one-bedroom suite (room 2114) and one regular room with 2 twin beds (room 2115). The keys they gave me work for both doors.

3. The "ocean view" in the hotel's lingo means "you can see some ocean from your room" -- this is how the nice lady on the reception answered my question on why I paid for "ocean view" but instead of the ocean, pretty much all I can see from my balcony is a construction site next door (see attached picture). I was also explained that they have "ocean direct" rooms where the views are of the ocean only and nothing else, and if I pay some extra they can move me to one of those.
