Turks and Caicos Islands Family Friendly Restaurants
Northwest PointProvidenciales, Turks & Caicos
For the best sunset views on the island, take the 30-minute trip to the northwest point of the island near Malcolm's Beach, where the luxury resort, Amanyara, rests. The resort allows non-guests to dine in its restaurant and take in the unobstructed sunset from its restaurant and circular bar, both overlooking the resort's infinity pool before a dramatic drop off to the beach.
Grace Bay RoadProvidenciales, Turks & Caicos
Located at the Sibonne Beach Hotel on Grace Bay, Bay Bistro is one of the few restaurants on the beach that is more enclosed than its casual neighbors, and one of the more popular restaurants on the island. Weekend brunches are island favorites, and the restaurant serves a fresh Caribbean selection of seafood, including its famed Conch Crepes.

It's relaxing to dine at a table in a garden surrounded by palm trees. The restaurant serves fresh local seafood with Caribbean inspired sauces as well as chicken and steak. We loved our blackened mahi mahi with a papaya and mango salsa as well as the grilled lobster. Reservations suggested.

Along the main road connecting the Grace Bay resorts are a collection of small boutiques and restaurants, including the kid-favorite Giggles. After a long day in the sun, visit for a double-decker ice cream cone or sundae.

Situated beachfront at the Grace Bay Resort, Grill Rouge serves 3 meals a day. The restaurant is especially nice for lunch as it shares the fabulous ocean view with its sister restaurant Anacaona, but the Grill is less pricey. Lunch includes salads, burgers, sandwiches and a few grilled entrees.

Located on the beach, connected to the Sands at Grace Bay, Hemingway's serves up all-day dining with live music on some evenings. The open-air restaurant serves up sandwiches, pastas, salads, and, of course, seafood in both a covered and patio setting.
Grace Bay ClubProvidenciales, Turks & Caicos
When stealing away for an adult-only dinner (or children 12 and up), sneak away to the Grace Bay Club's Infinity Bar for one of the hottest tables on the island. The 90-foot illuminated bar stretches to the beach, where guests dine together on tapas and a bar menu from 6 to 10 p.m. nightly.
The VillageGrand Turk , Turks & Caicos 649-946-2260
Sometimes a cheeseburger in paradise is a good thing, especially if your kids are antsy and craving American fare. This place seats 500, so expect some noise! Wear a bathing suit and you can order drinks from the swim-up bar.
Grace Bay BeachProvidenciales, Turks & Caicos
Located on the beach, connected to the Alexandra Resort and Spa, Mango Reef is surrounded by lighted palm trees and is completely open air, with clothed panels providing cover in the event of a rare rain drop falling. The vast menu is filled with Caribbean-inspired dishes and is heavy on the seafood.
Salt Raker InnGrand Turk, Turks & Caicos 649-946-2260
The landmark Salt Raker Inn dates to the 1850's. The local fare at the inn's Secret Garden restaurant includes deep-fried (cracked) conch, grouper and lobster.

When locals tell you to eat Somewhere on the Beach, they mean this laid-back cafe and lounge on Grace Bay Beach. The two-story Tex-Mex restaurant is the best location on Grace Bay to catch the sunset at dinner, but it also serves breakfast and lunch.
Blue Hills RoadProvidenciales, Turks & Caicos 649-946-8877
Every local on the island will send visitors to da Conch Shack for the best and freshest seafood meal on the island. The simple and inexpensive eatery is a collection of picnic tables located right in the sand. While your conch is fried, curried, sautéed or stir fried, kids can witness conches being split from their shells right on the beach. (You can buy polished conch shells to take home.) Lobster, group or snapper may also be available, depending on the day's catch.
