Universal Orlando Resort Family Vacations

A Mecca for amusement park-loving families, Orlando is one of those destinations that families return to time and time again, year after year. If you're looking for a great alternative to Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort should be at the top of your list. Kids, especially those for whom Mickey and his gang have lost some their novelty and appeal, will love experiencing other familiar characters like Shrek, Harry Potter, Spiderman and The Simpsons. If you're planning an extended vacation to Orlando, Universal works well as part of your itinerary; but it's absolutely worthy of a visit on its own. The Universal Orlando Resort includes Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, the two theme parks, as well as the Wet 'n Wild waterpark, and Citywalk, an entertainment complex with restaurants, bars, and shows.
