About Villa Florence
If you're the type that likes to stay in the center of it all without paying "center of it all prices," consider the Villa Florence, right off of Union Square. It bills itself as a way to experience a taste of Italy right in San Francisco, and guests will find it has a European feel that's unlike most U.S. hotels. The rooms used to be small and quaint, but after a recent renovation, cozy and luxurious would be a more apt description. Room rates vary with the season, but are generally less than many other hotels in the neighborhood. The Villa Florence is an understated, yet sophisticated hotel that does not offer any kid-specific features, but a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner is kid-friendly without being childish. And for weary parents, the lobby hosts a free wine tasting most evenings.
