Overview

Located on 482 acres of land, Waldorf Astoria Orlando is an exquisite, luxury resort. Several variations of guest rooms and suites are available; a Deluxe Room suits families of four or less as it provides two queen beds (or a king bed) and plenty of space. Guests who stay in a Waldorf Astoria Suite enjoy a kitchenette with a wine refrigerator, breakfast bar and a separate bedroom and living room.

Six restaurants are located onsite; The Clubhouse Grille is perfect for families as it serves traditional American fare. Going out for dinner without the kids? Astoria After Dark provides dinner and activities to children nightly. And while parents enjoy a game of golf or a trip to the hotel’s spa during the day, kids can spend time with Children’s Concierge, which offers activities like arts and crafts, relay games and scavenger hunts. Together, the whole family will enjoy the outdoor pools and private cabanas.

Great experience at the Waldorf

by Huubnl

We stayed during a conference, very nice hotel. Lots of great places to eat at the property. Wonderful staff, very customer friendly staff. We received a personal handwritten letter in Dutch to welcome us to the hotel. Great customer experience!

The Waldorf NEVER disappoints...

If you've read my prior review of this hotel in the past, you'll already know that this is already my favorite hotel to stay-cation in Orlando. The main reason, they never falter in their professionalism, quality and authentic desire to make your experience at the hotel one that you will not forget. Their dedication to service is genuine and one that makes you feel special, truly!
For our recent stay, my husband and I arrived for just a one-night stay in celebration of our 10th anniversary. As usual, from the valet (Juan) who wanted to make sure that he could help with our bags in any way, to those that opened the door to welcome us, to the sweet smell that's pumped through the air vents and the wonderful welcome at check-in, the first minutes are a true indication of what to expect. Olivia checked us in with a sweet smile and, upon realizing that the room we were to check into was going to cause a problem for our need to get ready for our dinner reservations that night, she took it upon herself to make our day. She left briefly, only to return with the manager, Alyssa, who whispered to us that she has upgraded us to the Presidential Suite (yes, you read right). As you can imagine, my husband and I were blown away and so thankful and shocked, to be honest, as we never would ever be able to stay in such a room. The room, well, it can't be put into words other than 'palatial'. I couldn't help wondering which celeb or diplomat had stayed in the same room.
They added a cherry on top by leaving balloons, decadent chocolates and a sweet Happy Anniversary note in the room for us to enjoy. We enjoyed a drink at the Peacock lounge and Michael, who served us, comped our first round of drinks when he heard that we were celebrating our anniversary. Though our stay was short, every moment was truly special because the Waldorf wants to make it easy and relaxing. This is why we will be back over and over again.
