Great D.C.Stay for Families

My first impression was that the hotel was that everything about the hotel was smaller than it appeared on the website. However, the very friendly front desk staff quickly made up for that. They offered treats to the kids every time we more +entered/exited the building.

Our suite had 2 queens and a sleeper sofa - more than adequate for the 5 of us. There is a small kitchen in the suite, but we used it only to make sandwiches for our sightseeing excursions. It had the necessities for cooking - and the maids cleaned it for you daily! There is a continental breakfast each morning - basic cereal, pastries, fruits, and instant hot cereal. Lots of wonderful places to eat and shopping within walking distance and also a Harris Teeter. The facility has a small coin-op laundry room which saw a lot of use.

The great thing about this site is the staff and that it is set up perfectly for the sightseeing family. The subway is a mere 2 blocks from the hotel. And the suite is spacious enough to allow you to truly relax after a long day.
