Washington Suites Georgetown is located in historic Georgetown, and walking distance to Metro, the Kennedy Center and Georgetown shops. Washington Suites has no meeting space and a home-away-from-home feel, with 650-square-foot suites that are popular with extended stay travelers as well as families. Suites have fully-equipped kitchens, two flat-screen TVs, and clock radio with iPod hook-up. Families receive complimentary continental breakfast and cookies at check-in. Two family packages offer extra perks like a plush panda toy, popcorn and a movie (in-suite), and a $25 gift card for a trip to nearby Trader Joe's, a funky organic grocer.

My first impression was that the hotel was that everything about the hotel was smaller than it appeared on the website. However, the very friendly front desk staff quickly made up for that. They offered treats to the kids every time we entered/exited the building.
