The resort recently completed a $22 million renovation of its pool area and convention space. Prior renovations added updated furnishings in the guest rooms, along with nearly soundproof sliding-glass doors that lead to each room's balcony. Located at one end of Palm Beach, the Westin, a high-rise hotel, offers the Westin Kids Club from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parents Night Off runs on Mondays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reserve spots 24-hours ahead of time. Seasonally, the resort offers such family activities as movies by the pool, stargazing and fireside storytelling. A casino is onsite.

We had never been to Aruba, or the Carribean for that part. I remember looking out of the window of the airplane and seeing the turqoise bluish, green water.
