We just loved The West at St. Johns. Staff so friendly. Place very clean. Definitely a trip worth taking at least once. We have been there 3 times.
Kids clubs is fantastic. They have adventures for the kids. Set up Movie N pizza night more +where the parents can leave the children for a few hours and the parents get to go out on a date. They have rock climbing wall in the water and two water trampolines. They also take the kids out with kayaks and canoes and teach them how to maneuver each of them. They then paddle to a little waters edge and search for sea life. They learn about the animals on the island.
The restaurants are great for children and adults. Meals to please all palates. Its a very friendly and safe place for your family, as well as, honeymooner's.

My son loved this Macaw called Esmeralda who grew attached to my son. Each trip she remembered him. Each time she saw him at breakfast or just out on the lounge area close to her cage she would climb out of her cage and literally walk to his chair and climb right onto the back of his chair. She would blow kiss back to him and wave high. The staff there said she never ever does that to anyone except maybe the person who feeds her. They could not believe there eyes. At one time people spotted her walking towards him and watch this unfold. they were amazed. After the end of our last trip she even let me pet her. The staff said, That's Incredible. They had never seen her do that in all the years she had been there. I have many photos of this taking place. What an experience to share and remember. He cannot wait to go back.
