About White Birch Lodge
Elk Rapids, MI
White Birch Lodge is a family owned and operated Lodge on crystal clear Elk Lake, 20 minutes north of Traverse City, Michigan. The Lodge has operated as a vacation resort since 1958, and is still owned by the same family three generations later. At White Birch, family is everything. Families eat together, relax on the beach or by the campfire together and participate in activities like sports and square dancing together. The resort offers many opportunities for water-skiing, tubing and swimming on the lake. The surrounding wooded area also sees many hikers, bikers and fisherman.
White Birch is a family favorite of the area with many different types of accommodations, including rooms, cabins, townhouse apartments and one- to three-bedroom condos. Get as much luxury as you want while staying close to the lake shore. This all-inclusive resort books by the week, so don't expect to stay for a shorter time period. All of the units sit on or near the lake and most offer a porch or view of the lake. Since White Birch charges by the person and not by the unit, they ensure that our guests fit comfortably in an accommodation that meets their needs. Meals are served in a dining hall and a three-per-day meal plan is also available; children ages 3 to 12 receive half-priced meals, while infants eat for free.
White Birch's activities include evening campfires, basketball games, bocce ball, boat cruises, sailing lessons and wakeboarding. Summertime children's activities are put on by a kids' club, provided parents with much-needed alone time. The children's club runs theme days, such as Weatherman Day and Superstar Day, during which kids can be split into two groups above and below age 6.
