My family and I stayed here in March for a quick little get away from the house for the night. My husband and I got married in this hotel in 2007 and it holds such special memories for us.
The rooms are not great, beds uncomfortable, no updates to rooms at all. They were clean and affordable for a winter overnight but I would never pay the prices they ask in the summer.
Indoor pool was open late and empty and the kids had a great time swimming.
Before swimming we wandered around the lobby/banquet hall hoping to show the kids were our wedding was and we were very rudely asked what we were doing.
Sorry to see this hotel hasn't maintained it's status as a top of line shore hotel.

Compelled to share - geography was great with rm 501. Took a one day get-a-way after missing summer vac w family catastrophic health events. Initially booked room online spur of the moment, w Booking.com, then realized Ocean front $82 was not ocean view so contacted B.com and was told room w ocean view available for 126$ off season rates (Thursday one day) and details would be resolved on my arrival to change room as B.com would communicate....I called as well to request direct clear planning--On arrival 10/10/19 INITIAL counter service was curt/ patronizing/ dismissive (Susan) as 'YOU did not book through us so we cannot change this !'
Room was musty/dated but had great view. I've traveled coast to coast not ever entering a review as this! Checkout exceeded 200$$ + PLUS Retainer of 100$ as a JUST in case !!!
Disappointed as my expectation of a low key quiet pleasant day-stay became extraordinarily expensive !!!!
My vehicle was the only overnight vehicle! I did think marketing would have been thrilled for business opportunities aka customers
Service recovery recommended!
