Overview

This charming motel is the prime spot for climbers to bunk down before or after their expeditions, but the Whittaker is perfect for families, too, thanks especially to large rooms, each of which include two beds, free Wi-Fi and a private bath at a minimum. But some, like Room 20, are even larger, with a queen bed, three twin beds, private bath, and a mini-fridge, microwave and TV/DVD player. If you want some more privacy and don’t need TV or Wi-Fi, there’s the cottage, tucked into towering firs and with visiting deer, elk, raccoons and coyotes. It’s located 1.5-miles closer to the park entrance, and features a queen and two twin beds with a private bath, gas fireplace and a full kitchen.

Beautiful cabin surrounded by woods

by Horserider345

We stayed in the bunkhouse cabin for two nights. It's located a mile from the main hotel. The trees and small pond surrounding it were really nice to look at. The cabin itself was cute and incredibly cozy. Enough sleeping and cooking space for five people.

I loved it so much I want to stay in it again next summer. We also saw a deer come into the cabin backyard.

Fine for 1 night

For $95 per night the curtains didn't even cover the windows which was a big deal since people are walking by your room constantly to use the restroom next door. No TV, Bath old and barely functional.
