The welcome at reception is very friendly, although old fashioned. There they use a print machine to read the credit card (Ratsch-Ratsch). The rooms have not only not been renovated for ages, also the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Dust and cobwebs here and there. The breakfast room is too small for the size of the motel, so that one had to have breakfast standing up, if one arrived in the main time. But the location is very central, so that you can walk to the center by foot. However, the price for the comfort offered is too high. "Wonder View" has gained a different meaning for us after this experience.

We stayed at Wonderview Inn for one night with an ATI Tour of New England.
Thank goodness it was only for one night!
Our room had flaking paint, no bed headboard and damaged furniture.
The room felt like a prefabricated unit.
However we did have a good view of Bar Harbour.
The hotel has few amenities, however there is a free shuttle bus that takes you into Bar Harbour.
