Traveling on a Budget and getting more for your Money

Wanted to go on a vacation with my daughter, son in law and 2 grand sons. Money was kinda tight, so I checked out a web site called skyauction.com and saw a Wyndham time share was actually up for auction for the time frame we had. I bid and actually more +won the bid for a week in a 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms with full kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. My total for the entire week was less than what most would pay for just a weekend. Our unit was very nice, clean and comfortable. The weather was not very nice at all, but we managed to have a fantastic time. They had a unique pool that was indoor and outdoors all in one, it also had a water slide right into the pool. When I tell you my grandsons who are 18 months and 3 had an awesome time that is putting it mildly, they were swimming every day regardless of the weather, using the slide and having a great time. We did not have to spend a ton of money on eating out everyday because we had the full kitchen and could cook right in the unit, we also did not have to pack a ton of clothes as the washer and dryer were right in our unit to use. We all had a ball and hope we can find another bargain vacation for this year. Play ground was right around the corner and BBQ grill there to use, I really can not think of another time we had so much fun for so little. Really nice view from the top of one of the building of the ocean.
