Bit & Spur 1212 Zion Park Boulevard•Springdale, UT •435-772-3498 The Bit & Spur is a Springdale watering hole loved by locals and tourists alike. With its fully stocked bar -- the Bit & Spur has an impressive selection of micro-brews plus fresh fruit margaritas -- and live music on weekends, this likely Mexican restaurant is the perfect place for a parents' night out. But kids are welcome here too, and the restaurant offers a children's menu with items like burritos, tacos and enchiladas. |
Cafe Soleil 205 Zion Park Boulevard•Springdale, UT •435-772-0505 Cafe Soleil is the last stop in Springdale on the way to Zion National Park, and this tiny, charming eatery is the perfect spot to snag an artfully wrapped lunch to bring hiking ($8 for a sandwich with potato chips). You can build the perfect sandwich for picky youngsters from the menu's extensive list of meats, cheeses, toppings and breads. Cafe Soleil serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. |
Orange Star 868 Zion Park Blvd•Springdale, UT •435-772-0255 The best treat after a long hike in the hot sun is, arguably, an ice-cold cup of creamy frozen yogurt. You can also get sandwiches here, which are reasonably priced and quite tasty. |
Oscar's Cafe 948 Zion Park Blvd•Springdale, UT •435-772-3232 Youngsters will love Oscar's Cafe, which serves up kid-friendly Mexican/American fare like cheese quesadillas and sweet potato fries on its children's menu. Whiptail Grill 445 Zion Park Boulevard•Springdale, UT •435-772-0283 Grab an outdoor table at Springdale's Vegetarian-friendly Whiptail Grill and dine on Southwest-inspired dishes from fresh guacamole to spaghetti squash enchiladas. Meals are priced at around $14 and up, but portions are large, so may wish to split an entree with your child. |
Zion Pizza & Noodle Co. 868 Zion Park Boulevard•Springdale, UT •435-772-3815 This restaurant is one of the stops along the Springdale Shuttle, and riders can't help but crave scrimptions pizza and pasta when they hear "Zion Pizza & Noodle Co." announced on the shuttle loudspeaker. The menus here are stocked with an abundance of kid-friendly fare, from lots of pasta dishes (veggie lasagna, chicken parmesan, linguine in teriyaki sauce) to plenty of pizza (six-cheese pizza, grilled veggie pizza, hot and spicy Southwestern Burrito pizza).
