Overview

Abaco beach is the perfect place for families who are looking for an authentic Caribbean experience. Set at Marsh Harbour, more than 40 acres of pristine beachfront in the Bahamas, the resort offers many opportunities. Families can use the resort as a jumping off point to go island-hopping, surfing or sailing. More than 70 rooms feature full kitchens, private terraces and living rooms with pull-out sofas. Guests can opt for one- or two-bedroom suites, as well. Larger condominiums with additional rooms are also available. Two restaurants are onsite. Angler’s Restaurant serves wild-caught grouper, and a terrace cafe specializes in lighter fare. Two outdoor pools, tennis courts and volleyball pits are also onsite. Snorkeling and kayaking equipment is available at no extra charge. The Bahama Buddies children’s program educated kids about the culture and plans fun activities, like cracking conch shells and peeling coconuts. Nearby lies one of the largest marinas in the Bahamas, fitting up to nearly 200 yachts.

Reviews

good location

I stopped in here for lunch before I could get on board my sailboat. I had flown in on a red eye from the west coast so needless to say I was jet lagged and needed a place to relax.
I returned again on my last day, before my flight out, and hung out at the restaurant and on the beach.

Friendly staff

We visited this resort in February. We had to find a hotel at the last minute due to boat problems. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The grounds were very pretty with a calm swimable beach. The restaurant was a little pricey but that is the Abacos! We had a direct water view from our room. There were restaurants near by that were in walking distance.
