Overview

Hidden away in the trees near a golf course, this massive log cabin B&B has three comfortable rooms to choose from. The largest contains two queen beds and room for a crib or air bed. The entire house is filled with mounted wildlife trophies, which gives it the feel of a true Alaskan hunting lodge. You’ll enjoy a free home-cooked breakfast each morning. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi and a hot tub. Ask your hosts about getting in a game of golf and they will arrange a tee time at the course next door for you.

The B&B is located in a quiet residential neighborhood 9 miles south of downtown Wasilla. There are a few restaurants and stores right around the B&B, and you’ll find even more options further down the highway. Some of Wasilla’s most popular attractions are within fifteen minutes of the Inn, including the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Museum and the Museum of Alaska Transportation. Kids and parents alike will love riding the miniature trains at Alaska Live Steamers, a 20-acre park with miles of wooded track. Later, take a ranger-guided hike in Independence Mine State Historical Park, site of a large abandoned gold mine in the mountains above Wasilla. With its quiet location and welcoming hosts, the Wasilla B&B is a great choice for your family trip to the wilds of Alaska.

Very Nice!

by Lori B

This home is beautiful! We had a nice size room with comfortable beds. The bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was really good in the morning. It was quiet and peaceful. I would stay here again. It was everything you could want.

A Perfect Stay

by Rodriku

This was our first visit to Alaska and we could not have found a better place to stay for the week. My son and I were welcomed by Lori, her mom and husband into their log home for our visit.
It’s a very laid back place to stay as you come and go as you wish and Lori is very accommodating when it comes to what time you’d like to have her homemade breakfast.
The house is in a beautiful setting and the rooms are spacious, very clean and with their private bathrooms.
Thank you for our great stay.
