Overview

This intimate resort is located on seven miles of beach and opened in late 2004, continuous growing over the years to include suites for families. The Belize Barrier Reef protects the resort’s beach, so the waves lap slightly and are perfect for young children, and kids can kayak in the calm waters. Different packages are available to make the resort all-inclusive, providing meals, excursions and transportation to and from the airport included in your stay. Accommodations range from standard rooms that sleep four to two-bedroom suites that sleep up to seven. (A five-bedroom penthouse can sleep 10.)

Love this place

Having such a wonderful time!! The people are the most thoughtful and go out of their way to accommodate you needs and ensure you’re having a wonderful time. Just finished a waterfall hike with Mario. He was very knowledgeable about all the birds, plants and lizards we saw. Dennis aka the coconut king climbed up a tree and got us a fresh coconut to drink from. The place is magical and the food is really outstanding. Totally awesome.

Ahh, Relax

My wife and I really enjoyed our 3 days at this wonderful resort. The staff is attentive and warm. The beach is just steps from every room. The room we had was beautiful — really beautiful, with a small courtyard and warm plunge pool and an outdoor shower (as well as indoor, which went unused).

The beach facilities are also great — comfortable lounge chairs under permanent umbrellas protect folks like me from too much sun. The water is nice. I also took out a kayak for a nice ride.

My wife and I also went snorkeling; they didn’t just take us out to the reef and push us overboard — a guide swam with us and showed us all sorts of things (an eel, a yellow manta ray, various fish and coral species) that i would have missed going by myself.

We had 2 small issues — because there is so much water-related activity, there should have been more towels in the room and,or the beach/pools. Second, for the same reason, we needed more places to hang wet towels and clothes in the room.

But these are nits on an overall wonderful experience.

One final word of advice: we didn’t do this, but take a bicycle and go into town. Friends we made at the resort had some excellent experiences, and there are a host of eating options of which to take advantage.
