Not worth the money

by LaurieLu

I’m sorry to be a bummer but the minute you walk in, the bare concrete floor and the cheap and cheesy lobby furniture sets the tone. It’s a low budget tacky hotel with a high price. The room seemed clean, but as we started looking around we noticed crumbs on the carpet, finger prints on all the light switches and a layer of dust on the bathroom mirror. the mattress was awful. I slept in a depression in the mattress. There was a stain on the office chair. The wallpaper was peeling and the laminate on the cheap desk was peeling back. we spelt about 6 hours and then left. Please don’t waste your money. It was $253 for a Saturday night. So not worth it.

Never stay at an aloft again

First, we didn’t get the room we booked two months ago.

Second, the WiFi didn’t work. Even though this was mostly a family trip, we had a ton of work to get done. Tech service that we were referred to by the hotel would never answer the phone. We had to use our cell phones as hot spots.

Third, we wanted to watch a movie. The is one price ($19.99), but then we selected the movie and it was $34.99. We called down to the front desk and he had no idea and had no suggestions.

Fourth, the tv channels were really limited. No Fox News. Largest cable network, but nada.

No Tylenol in the gift shop.

We would have moved hotels, but we didn’t want to waste half a day. In hindsight, we should have.

It’s really too bad. The location is great. In general, the staff was super nice. Except the front desk guy that couldn’t help us with a simple question.

We travel a lot, and have stayed at many aloft hotels and it has never been this bad.

This is our last stay. You have lost a good customer forever.
