Great resort and stay

by drtiffanyjohnson

What can I say? The views alone make this a fantastic pick for a Sedona vacation but all the amenities available really put it over the top. We had a spacious room that seemed much larger than most hotel rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with making reservations for meals, morning yoga, and shuttling us around town for dinner. Speaking of food, we ate breakfast here one day(rec breakfast burrito!) and dinner another day (Had a salad with salmon and it was delicious) and the food was fantastic, just really good, along with the complimentary wine hour. The pool was a smidge chilly, even though it was heated, but after a long day hiking I wanted to relax in the hot tub anyways and it did not disappoint! Great spurge for a girls weekend away to celebrate some milestone birthdays! Would definitely recommend and hope to be back some day!

By the Time I get to Sedona

Not really about the Glen Campbell's song but thought it would get someone's attention. We traveled to Sedona early November and what a terrific experience. We stayed at the Amara Resort and it was exquisite. Service was impeccable, location was perfect and the resort itself was amazing. From the bell stand, front desk and restaurant the staff were outstanding. They were courteous, kind and so very helpful. Go for the ambiance and environment as the rooms are okay--clean and tidy--but not over the top. But then it's the scenery you go for and the resort has that and more.
