Visiting Monterey after 50 years.

Just used room one night, for sleeping after day of sightseeing. Sadly to late in season for pool or hot tub. Comfortable beds..clean room..within walking distance of the Wharf,not the Hilton but nice.

BEDBUGS

STAY AWAY, THIS PLACE HAS BEDBUGS. After checking I pulled back the covers to find several including one crawling across my pillow (see pictures below, I have video as well which cannot be uploaded here). I immediately packed my bags and went to the front desk to get a refund. The staff man refused and after arguing for less than a minute he demanded that I leave without a refund or else he would call the police on me. I ended up leaving without a refund which I am still trying to dispute without receiving threats from the management. Most unsanitary and unprofessional hotel I’ve ever experienced.
