AmericInn Albuquerque is a great property for families with children to stay at during their trip. The hotel is especially perfect if you’re visiting the La Luz Trail, Old Town Albuquerque and Turquoise Trail. A few other attractions include the Rainbow Ryders and New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. This hotel has 62 rooms for families to choose from, most of which include two queen beds. It also has a swimming pool. The hotel serves a free, hot breakfast every day; for other meals, venture to some of the excellent local restaurants, such as Il Vicino Pizzeria, Saggio’s and Durans Station nearby.

We arrived about 11 p.m. after booking online, and found the online service had been wrong -- no rooms were available. But the helpful hotel staff, seeing we were exhausted after our Delta flight had been endlessly postponed and then delayed until the next day, offered us a room that was temporarily offline due to some minor repairs. It was a lifesaver, and the room was in fine shape (the bed was excellent.) Despite the late hour, the hotel staff went the extra mile for us!
When we first arrived there were no cups or coffee for the coffee maker.
We had requested a room with a refigerator. There was no refrigerator and the front desk said there were no rooms open that had one.
They had the power flicker and all the tv's in the whole complex went out. The front desk called someone but the tv's were still not on when we left in the morning.
My wife went to use the coffee maker and blow dryer in the morning and neither worked. We reported these problems to the front desk.
We probably will never use that super 8 again.
