Decent enough

For the price, it was a good value. The advantage is the location and proximity to rail station and thus access to the town centre.

The room was quite dated and the carpet was worn/torn. I wish the bathroom would have been cleaner. There was a definite party vibe that was a bit unexpected, but didn't affect our sleeping. Nice to have a kitchenette in the suite.

If it wasn't for the price, I wouldn't have stayed there. Next time in Amsterdam, I'll look elsewhere. Not bad, but not great.

Great location but hotel/hostel wasn’t for me

My usual hotel in sloterdijk was unavailable so we payed through the roof prices for this hotel. Requested early check in when arrived (8am) room was not available told to come back at 11am and try again. When I did the staff was so rude telling me that she isn’t going to rush her Maids (no one asked her to rush them I was just coming back at 11am like she said to check if rooms were ready) was told to come back at 3pm which we did and there was loud party going on 18 year olds twerking next to us while we was trying to check in, really???? The hotel has a real hostel vibe to it which I didn’t realise until I was stood there. Rooms were actually nice but the bathroom was gross didn’t look very clean and everything was broken (toilet seat, shower plug). We saw a NOT scared rat running down the side of the hotel building which I was on the ground floor and was scared they were in the building! The only good thing I liked is you can smoke what you want in the hotels smoking area outside. Overall I wouldn’t return or recommend I have been to Amsterdam countless times and this has been the most expensive hotel we’ve been to and we usually for for 5 days (we went for two nights) it was the worst hotel we’ve ever been to in Amsterdam.
