The Angel’s Rest has a prime waterfront location on Lowell Point. The beach is just steps away from most of their cabins and rooms. The two mini-suites, with a queen bed and twin bed, are ideal for a small family of three. You can enjoy the stunning views of Resurrection Bay from the sitting room of the suite, or simply step outside to play on the black pebble beach. The small kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, gas BBQ grill and an outdoor freezer. There are several kayak rental companies nearby, as well as tour boats and fishing charters.
The hotel is in a quiet area 2 miles south of Seward. It’s an easy drive into town to enjoy the restaurants and shops of historic downtown Seward. Kids will love spending an afternoon at the Alaska Sealife Center, the state’s biggest and best aquarium. Seward is also a starting point for a variety of different day trips into Kenai Fjords National Park and nearby glaciers. For its wonderful waterfront location and modern suites, Angel’s Rest on Resurrection Bay is a great choice for your family vacation in Seward.

We just got back from our trip to Alaska and wanted to share our amazing experience with Angels Rest. We were lucky enough to snag the Cloud 9 cabin while we were in town for a friend’s wedding. As we walked and drive around Seward and Lowell point, we definitely feel like we got the best spot/location/cabin! The views from the cabin (the rockers are the best!) and the patio couldn’t be beat. We spent more time at the cabin then we really thought because we felt so comfortable and loved the views/sound of the Bay.
The cabin itself was quaint but romantic and had everything we really needed. Lynda and Paul really take pride in what they do and their property- it definitely shows. They were very welcoming, had lots of good information and quick responses from day 1. Thanks so much for such an amazing experience!

Wonderful view of Resurrection Bay. watching the sea otters swim, bald eagles, Jelly fish and salmon spawning..Our little piece of heaven. The owners thought of everything we needed, ex coffee, blow dryer, sugar, a kitchen to cook, which we didn’t. Even a box of chocolates were left for us. The next time we stay there we're staying on the Side of the bay so we can be clear to heaven. This was, by far the our best Anniversary ever! Thanks!
