The all new Anna Maria Beach Resort is like nothing experienced on Anna Maria Island before. Luxury and location meet head on to achieve the premier motel experience on the island. The Anna Maria Beach Resort is the product of a full renovation and complete transformation of the 1950s Blue Water Beach Resort, and consists of a combination of 31 suites, deluxe and standard rooms. The resort retains the same previous floor plan and footprint as before, but with many significant upgrades. All have private balconies or patios and many rooms offer the option of connecting doors. The elegant coastal design has a slightly modern, sleek and classy design with clean lines and cozy colors.
Every detail of the property is new, from the basics like plumbing, electric, and AC, to the gorgeous luxury interiors–and everything in between! Every room is complete with new furniture, fixtures, appliances and fantastic wood finished trim. All upper level rooms have private balconies and all ground level rooms have private patios. And what’s more, all rooms have views of the Gulf waters or the gorgeous zero-entry pool! This brand-new, oversized resort style pool with separate hot tub are the pinnacle of fun on AMI.
Sitting/sunning shelves, lush tropical landscaping , direct beach access, horseshoes and cornhole are just a few of the features that family and friends will make memories enjoying.

We stayed here 2 years ago before the remodel and had a great time. Since we were heading back to the same area, our group decided to book there again. We knew it had been remodeled, but they spared no expense! It is so quiet and comfortable in the rooms / suites. The decorations are beautiful and we absolutely loved the new, large pool and the fire pits! Games for everyone to play and directly on the beach - what more could you ask for? To top it off, all of the staff were super inviting and friendly! And you can have a full kitchen in your suite if you wish. It’s a must go if you’re staying on Anna Maria! You won’t be disappointed.
We had stayed at this resort for years before the fire (née Blue Water Resort) and had been going to Lido beach for the past two years. On our trip to Lido this year, we stopped by and were sooo impressed, so we went back a few weeks later. We were blown away by the renovation, superior service and amazing hosts. It is gorgeous! Lounge chairs on the beach, huge pool, hot tub, fire pits, etc. We had coffee every morning on the beach and wine on the beach at sunset. We will not go any place else now!
