Fall Color Weekend

by Cheryl-Rick F

We stayed in Cabin 27 for the weekend. Nicely outfitted with an "Up North" vibe. Fully equipped kitchen, which we didn't use, because the restaurant has Amazing food - for all your meals. Take advantage of whatever the daily special is, or one of the many menu options. Nothing disappoints. The staff was always smiling. The outdoor areas fulfilled all of our needs. This was our first visit, BUT will not be our last!

Friendly staff and great facilities

We stayed in cabins 11 and 12 for a week for a family gathering and had a great time. The cabins were cozy and clean, plenty of hot water available, and the kitchens were well-equipped. We took advantage of the boat rentals, which all ran very smoothly, as well as the beach chairs which luckily there were always plenty of, even on Isle Days weekend. The indoor gym and board games available were both very welcome additions as well.

The standout for me was the staff. Jodi was a great help one evening during a power outage, and Sarah in the restaurant managed our group of 12 very efficiently, getting all orders correct and in good time. Thank you!

One room for improvement would be a bit of attention to eco-friendly practices. There were no recycling bins available, takeaway boxes in the restaurant are styrofoam, and plastic straws are given as default.
