A Wonderful Stay while in Rome!

by 572mirandar

The Appia Antica Resort was fantastic! The accommodations were amazing. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment... Very, very clean. Housekeeping was definitely on point. Also, the staff made sure we had everything we needed while visiting Rome. The fridge was filled with light snacks: milk, water, Italian sodas, meat, cheese, jams, etc. In addition there was a food basket on the counter that assured us that we had everything from coffee to breakfast items. This was all included in the stay. Oh and the coffee... ????????????????.... perfect. I must say this has been one of the most hospitable stays I’ve ever experienced next to staying with family. They even booked our cabs and tours for us and also made our dinner reservations! The staff and the owner of the property were very hands-on to make sure we made it to and from our destinations as easily as possibly. In America this would be somewhat comparable to a super stellar “bed and breakfast” except you’ll have much more privacy. I am very particular about cleanliness .... I almost have a phobia about it... and I must say this was not an issue for me or my husband at all. We slept very well at night ....and the weather was cool enough to open the screened windows... we awakened to birds singing every morning in the beautiful garden right outside our window. I’m trying to paint as realistic of a picture as possible. If you’re visiting Rome anytime soon... this is the place to stay... you’ll be pleasantly surprised. No questionable hotels! Also, they are within walking distance to the historic Appia Antica Way.... you’ll love the walk... check it out!

When we return to Rome... this is our go-to spot from now on!

Hospitality at it's finest

We had a fantastic stay in Rome before our cruise. Mauricio and his wife were great hosts. We got to meet the famous Paola when we arrived. She was so wonderful for the 6 months prior in communicating via email. She answered all our questions before arrival. We chose this place due to the excellent ratings on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! This place would be great before or after a cruise. It is an apartment that comes with a washer, full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. It was so convenient to have all those amenities. It was also just outside the city center so it was very quiet at night. Going in to town was super easy as a bus picks up and drops off just outside the resort. There is a grocery store down the street that we used to purchase food and beverage. The fridge was actually stocked when we arrived! It was nice to take advantage of traditional Italian favorites. If you are looking for a stay in Rome, please book here!!!! You will not be disappointed!!
