Overview

This beautiful new hotel features a modern design and a wide array of amenities, but at a nice price. Their Double Queen Classic room includes two luxury queen beds, space for a crib or rollaway, a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, and a ceiling fan. The whole family will enjoy the outdoor pool, hot tub, and patio with BBQ grills. The hotel has a full service lounge and a spacious fitness center. Everything here is upscale, including the free hot breakfast served each morning in the bright and airy breakfast room. This hotel is family-owned, so they understand how to accommodate kids and parents alike.

There are several casual restaurants around the hotel, and plenty more within a short drive. The Arbor Hotel is located in southwest Lubbock, just off the freeway. Kids will be immediately attracted to the nearby Legacy Play Village, a public playground that includes a 3-story wooden castle, a winding maze, and curvy slides. On a hot day, head down the street to the Water Rampage water park where you can cool off with water slides, a wave pool, and lazy rivers. You’ll be a few miles from downtown Lubbock, a great place to find casual and fine-dining restaurants, antique shops, and historic buildings. There are a wide variety of museums in the area, including the Science Spectrum Museum, National Ranching Heritage Center, and Silent Wings WWII Glider Museum. Don’t leave downtown Lubbock without a visit to the Buddy Holly Center, which celebrates the local rock and roll legend and West Texas music. With its attention to detail, luxury amenities, and family-friendly rooms, the Arbor Hotel is a great choice for your family’s big trip to Lubbock.

Car broken into

by BoardingPass243901

Our car was broken into the first night of a 5 night stay during the night when the lights in the parking lot were broken. Management indicated that a power surge caused the lights to go out. The lights were not repaired during the remainder of our stay. The four adjacent hotels had lighted parking lots during our entire stay. Management's response was "only" two cars were broken into.

No Compassion or Customer Service

by LoveTravel477994

Rob was uncaring, callus and unconcerned with customer service. We made a reservation with this hotel and accidentally booked twice through the internet. One reservation was cancelled and the other was not. We were charged $190.00. It was a human error that I admitted to and was asking him to consider some kind of mercy. Rob at the Hotel claimed that we made a mistake and that we needed to "pay the price". He also told me had no supervisor that he paid his own pay check. Unless he owns the property he lied to me. We will be traveling to Lubbock several times over the next few years and as I pleaded with him it would be made up. He was very unconcerned and actually cocky that he did not need the business. Beware consumer of someone who is so full of themselves that they can't have consumer common sense.
