Overview

Aria Hotel in Prague is the first of two music-themed hotels in Eastern Europe (the second is in Budapest) and is ranked one of the top properties in Prague. The hotel is located within steps of the U.S. Embassy in the city’s Lesser Town neighborhood, within walking distance of Prague’s Castle and the famous Charles Bridge. But it’s not its supreme location that makes it so wonderful. Instead, it’s how well the staff treat its guests, providing complimentary like an expansive buffet breakfast and wine and cheese receptions in the afternoon, as well as Wi-Fi, movies and music to make an international stay more enjoyable.

The boutique property is themed around music, with each floor dedicated to a different genre, such as jazz and classical. Each floor features caricature artwork by renowned Czech artist Josef Slecha, and rooms are decorated with bold, vibrant colors in furnishings, wall colors and artwork to provide a lively, modern space after touring a city rich in ancient architecture.

Lovely Hotel in city centre

by mimi19792014

The hotel had almost everything you could wish for. Lovely staff who are very attentive who take time to have a chat or even a laugh. Very friendly atmosphere that makes you feel very welcome. Only minor is the breakfast, at peaktime the ladies feel overwhelmed and in my personal opinion tye buffet or a la card is just lacking a bit of variation.
Room is clean and the toiletries are lovely.
Can really recommend this hotel if you like some luxury without being uptight and where you can relax after walking on them cobblestones all day.

Great Hotel

by steven l

This was one of my favorite hotels. I had absolutely no idea what to expect, but it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were nicely appointed. The musical theme was nice. The breakfast buffet was lavish. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and our meal was delicious. We toured the gardens that are located on site, and they were magnificent. It is well situated, with only a short walk to the Charles Bridge. I found the staff to be very helpful. The concierge helped us with dinner suggestions, and gave us great recommendations.

Family Activities

The hotel is a city property with no special offerings for kids or families outside of its relaxing spaces to provide serenity when no longer touring the bustling capital of the Czech Republic. The hotel provides a private entrance to Vrtba Garden, which is Prague's oldest Baroque garden. The UNESCO World Heritage site is connected to the embassies and so private your family will feel like a royal family enjoying their own majestic backyard. However, the garden is open only from April through October.

Also open from spring to fall is the hotel's rooftop terrace, which is used for dining, but guests are welcome to take in the views and enjoy a break with snacks and drinks.

Family Dining

Coda Restaurant
The hotel's year-round dining spot is CODA, which only seats 30 guests. Rated one of the city's best and most romantic dinner spots, the restaurant also offers quiet lunches.

Winter Garden Atrium
This relaxing ground floor space is home to the hotel's breakfast buffet in comfortable couch seating. In the afternoons, guests can also enjoy complimentary tea and snacks.

Rooftop Terrace
In the warmer months, April through October (weather permitting), the rooftop becomes a dining area for guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Planning & Tips

All About the Extras
Complimentary at the Aria are Wi-Fi, breakfast, and afternoon tea.

The Art of Smart Timing
The hotel is located in the heart of Prague, which welcomes visitors all year. Visit in the summer for the best garden views, as the city features many city parks, as well as the adjacent Baroque gardens that are only open in the spring through fall. Guests visiting in the summer may also enjoy the rooftop lounge with its views of the city in a quiet and private space. However, winter is also popular, as the Prague holiday markets are renowned.

Getting There
The hotel is located about 30 minutes from the international airport, with taxis plentiful. The hotel can arrange car service at an additional fee.

Getting Around
The hotel is centrally located in Prague's Lesser City and is in walking distance to Prague Castle, St. Nicholas Church, and Charles Bridge. It is just a mile walk to Old Town Square. However, the city and the hotel are built into hills with cobbled streets that may make walking with strollers more difficult, so take note.
