Booking and check-in process was smooth and fast. Staff was very helpful, including finding addresses in Tel Aviv, finding parking near the hotel (it has an arrangement with a park garage two minutes from the hotel). There was a happy hour with delicious snacks and wine, and the breakfast was - typically Israeli - outstanding. The hotel's special feature is its support of artists who exhibit in all public accessible spaces of the hotel, quite intriguing. The hotel is off the busy Ben-Yehuda street, easy to miss when you walk by. Three minutes walking from the main Tel Aviv beach, though you have to cross two busy streets to get there. We had a basic room that was completely renovated and had all the necessities (fridge, safe, coffee machine, etc.), its window faced the backyard, so it was relatively quiet. I would not recommend it for folks used for large lobbies, valet parking, a drive-way to the hotel, etc. However, the hotel has a very substantial gym and spa (which we did not have time to try out). It will be closed for a few months for renovations.
