Reviews

Teriffic hotel well situated

by Ian724

This hotel is well located only a short distance from tube station, plentiful busses and taxis available. The hotel itself is just brilliant from walking throughthe front door to a genuine welcome from the front of house staff to the breakfast staff and to the people who cleaned our room. Extremely well appointed room on the fifth floor with excellant bathroom and a very comfy bed. It was a joy to visit this hotel for two nights. A cracking good find in what at times can be a a nightmare accommodation market.

Very nice little hotel, clean, super friendly staff

All I can say is that the concierge bent over backwards for my wife and I. He was AMAZING. We had an issue where a tour company charged one credit card 3 extra times and a second card 2 times due to a system glitch (kept declining on their system but going through as a legitimate charge on our credit cards), he harassed the tour company several times a day, while giving me updates, until the charges were reversed. This was not his problem at all, needless to say that gentleman went above and beyond fixing it. I think he felt bad that he recommended the company so wanted to fix the issue. I cannot recall this gentleman's name but I believe it started "Shar." The free (included) breakfast was also very good; sliced cheeses, meats, breads, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, fruits, etc. You could pay extra for prepared food but this was much better than your typical American "continental breakfast."
